READING MODULE

OVERVIEW

The Reading Module lasts 60 minutes. 

The Reading Booklet will be given to you. You can write on the Question Paper, but you can’t take it from the room. You will write your answers on the Answer Sheet. DONT HAVE EXTRA TIME TRANSFER YOUR  ANSWERS. You will have only 60 minutes to read the passages, answer the questions, and write your answers.

There are many types of questions used in the Reading module. You should be familiar with these types.

• Multiple-choice questions 
• Short-answer questions 
• Completing sentences 
• Completing notes, summary, tables, flowcharts 
• Labeling a diagram 
• Choosing headings for paragraphs or sections of a text
• Locating information 
• Identifying points of view 
• Identifying writer’s claims 
• Classifying information 
• Matching lists or phrases
